SHOWCASE
The film's narrative focuses on the audience's encounter with the finalists' accessory designer for the YKK Accessory Award at ITS#SIX in Trieste. The encounter is told through a fictionalised glass showcase displaying the finalists' work. The action plays out across the surface of the glass; a reflected and refracted portrait of the audience overlaying the forms and textures of the still life beneath. Filmed on location in Trieste, the film begins with the judging of the finalists' work by an international jury, and progresses to the evening event where their designs are presented to a specially invited audience.
